The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland, conducting cutting-edge research in four main fields: future technologies, energy and climate, health innovation and fundamentals of nature. Researchers in the areas of Future Technologies and Fundamentals of Nature study the internal structure of a wide range of different materials.
